The aim of the project is to identify significant heritage features within Norden, restore them if needed, and put the protection in place to preserve them for future generations.
One of the first undertakings will be to look at the area around Black Pits Chimney, along Moss Row and into Naden Valley to create the ‘Norden Woodland Heritage Trail’. Work has already begun with the planting of trees along Moss Row and there are some great plans for further development of the area so that it can be enjoyed by more people for generations to come.
